Bohemian glass beaker with flowers

Made 1843
Lime colored glass with eight cartouches of alternating etched and hand-painted flowers. The lime colored fluorescent glass was developed by Josef Riedel in 1830 by adding uranium to the stain. The deep red cartouches are made of hyalith.
