This progressive sitting group was designed by Josef Hoffmann and exhibited at the
J. & J. Kohn pavilion at the World Fair in Buenos Aires in 1910.
Hoffmann reduced the form of seating furniture, creating clear lines. In collaboration with the bentwood manufacturer J. & J. Kohn, Hoffmann was able to realize his ideas. Kohn presented a variety of the architects designs in their catalogue. In 1910 Kohn’s pavilion at the World Fair in Buenos Aires was designed by Josef Hoffmann.
