mother-of-pearl and exotic woods

Maurice Dufrène was a founding member of the Societe des Artistes
Decorateurs, and in 1899 became director of the Masion Moderne,
a design firm, key in the development of Art Nouveau.
He designed the ‘petit salon’ in the Paris Exposition of 1925.
