Vienna, c. 1880 Eight wine glasses, eight liqueur glasses, and seven water goblets (one is in the Lobmeyr collection, Vienna). The colorless crystal, cut and engraved, is of the finest quality. Lobmeyr, founded in 1822, is internationally reknowned as one of the world's leading glass designers- the crystal chandeliers in New York's Metropolitan Opera were also made by Lobmeyer.
