Vienna, c. 1820 Mahogany Superior workmanship that came form the Biedermeier era allowed for beautifully made design such as the backrest of this pair of side chairs. The form eloquently fans out from the base of the seat, with subtle hints of a more classic backrest found in the horizontal supports.
