Vienna, c. 1903 mahogany veneer with maple and ebony parquetry border ball feet, floral motifs, inlaid in mother of pearl ebony and exotic woods Good craftsmanship was essential for the production of a fine piece of furniture in Vienna during the first decade of the 20th Century. This elegant desk made of mahogany with floral details inlaid in mother of pearl and ebony, has a long central drawer flanked by smaller drawers. A cabinet on either side conceals drawers on the left and a shelf on the right. Height: 30" Width: 59" Depth: 31.5"
